Golden Wellness - Solo Private Practice

Are you seeking a relationally-centered, spiritually grounded, and trauma-sensitive mental health therapist? Hi, my name is Anna Heath, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, psychotherapist, and mental health expert and facilitator who founded Golden Wellness on the centering belief that

In fact, one of my favorite experts on trauma, Dr. Diane Langberg, says it best:

“Healing can only truly occur in the context of connection.”

You cannot talk people out of suffering, trauma, or great grief. You must go to them, sit with them, listen, and understand; then little by little you can begin to walk with them toward a new and different place.

In Japanese culture, there's an art form called kintsugi, which means "golden joinery." It's a method of repairing broken pottery. Rather than disguise the damage, the potter highlights the breakage by filling the cracks with a lacquer mixed with gold dust.

Inspired by kintsugi, Golden Wellness was created to provide a space where the fractured bits of our lives have the chance to turn into golden seams. You are invited to bring your pain, your story, and your fractures. While many would want those places to simply go away, the hope is that in time, those places of pain receive the care needed to evolve. This process of discovery and growth is tedious and many times painstaking; however, like kintsugi, trauma never diminishes your value, but transforms the fragmented pieces into a new future that is different yet profoundly radiant.
